On March and November 2014, CESLAM in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) carried out a study in Dolakha district in two phases to measure the prevalence of trafficking in labour migration. This formative research was conducted to inform the upcoming intervention evaluation to assess some of the impact of ILO-led programme of trafficking prevention activities. In the first phase of the study in March, a survey of all households and interviews with female migrants was conducted in three VDC/Municipality. In the second phase in November, interviews were conducted with all returnee migrants from the same sites. In the third phase, same interviews were taken with the female migrant returnees in three districts of Nepal: Chitwan, Rupandehi and Morang. (on going)
