The report analyses the present state of supply and demand of skills in the major and emerging destination countries vis-à-vis Nepali migrants. It also evaluates the existing skills training system and skills development practices in Nepal in comparison to the needs of Nepali aspirant and returnee migrants. Based on the data collected through the review of secondary literature and multiple surveys with aspirant migrants, returnee migrants, private recruitment agencies and private training institutes in Nepal, the report identifies gaps that exist in the skills development of Nepali migrants, and offers recommendations.
