The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) with financial support from the Self Employment Fund has decided to launch a vocational training programme targeting unemployed youths. Under the programme, around 7,000 youths from 73 districts will be provided various vocational trainings so that they can become entrepreneurs. The 15- day training will focus on fishery, livestock farming and mechanics, among others. The CTEVT will select training centres in each of the districts soon.
