Mass migration as water sources dry up in Chure
People living in the Chure settlements are worried that the region could face drought this winter. Already, water shortage in the region has caused many families to migrate. Migration has been reported in places like Katari, Triyuga, Beltarbasaha, Saune, Risku, Bhalayadanda, Jogidaha, Hadiya and Sundarpur. कतारमा ४० हजार कम्पनीले बैंकबाट तलब दिन थाले
कामदारको तलब सुरक्षा गर्न कतारले एक बर्षअघि लागू गरेको ‘तलब सुरक्षा प्रणाली’ (डब्लुपीएस)लाई ४० हजार कम्पनीले स्वीकार गरेको छ । प्रशासन, विकास, श्रम तथा सामाजिक मामिला मन्त्रालयले ४० हजार कम्पनीमा कार्यरत झन्डै १८ लाख कामदारले बैंकबाट तलब पाउन थालेको दाबी गरेको हो । कतारले सन् २०१५ फेब्रुअरी महिनामा कामदारलाई बैंकबाट अनिवार्य तलब दिने नीति ल्याएको थियो । यसलाई सरकारले समय दिएर २०१५ नोभेम्बरबाट अनिवार्यरुपमा कार्यान्वयनमा ल्याएको हो ।Published on: 4 November 2016 | Kantipur
