Call for Applications: CESLAM Migration Research Fellowships 2020
Migration is an important livelihood strategy undertaken by households in Nepal with multi-faceted impacts on all sectors of life and livelihoods. Migration has created a strong interest among researchers and practitioners in Nepal. However, there are still knowledge gaps on this complex phenomenon. The main objective of the fellowships is to provide an opportunity to individuals interested in issues related to migration to explore interlinkages that have not yet been addressed. -
Call for Papers: CESLAM Kathmandu Migration Conference 2020
The Centre for the Study of Labour and Mobility (CESLAM) at Social Science Baha, Kathmandu, invites proposals for papers on areas related to migration in the Nepali context to be presented at a conference to be held on 19-20 March 2020. The proposed papers can deal with any aspect of migration related to Nepal, including but not limited to foreign labour migration, internal migration, student migration, Nepali migrant communities, etc. -
